It's only a damn lens, screw it in and go shoot pictures!"<< >>When the shoe is on the other foot and it involves the philosophy, concept, life and times, we know the techie folks get antsy, as we have seen with Roger and his "mental masturbation" about what drives some of us.<< >>Well so be it, as we are not going to move out because of one person's point of view! We are however going to try and understand that point of view, as it is important for everyone to appreciate each other. And if we don't, we lose the whole point of communicating and dialogue of being a member of the LUG!<< I've only quoted parts of your original message and maybe, according to some, not even the best parts. But this is one I really enjoyed reading. You said it so well and it says a lot about room for everyone here. I suspect I tend to run to the techie side of the exchanges but I always (well nearly always) enjoy reading the posts from the hardcore (pro) users like yourself. I like to think it has helped my photography improve and my way of seeing things. Even if (as viewed by someone else) it has not helped, it makes me feel better about the quality of my photos. Thanks for taking the time to express and share your thoughts and feelings here. Regards, Don Bledsoe
