Aquascan Panoramic Underwater Camera This is an example of the very rare species of underwater panoramic cameras. It sports a state of the art Leitz Elcan lens in its slit-scan shutter. The body, too, is extremely well made (by Photogrammetry in Maryland) and the mechanical action is easy to understand and fun to watch. Exposure is triggered by a magnet in the pistol grip. Scanning and film advance are powered by two electric motors. All the mechanical action inside the camera is coordinated by cams and wheels and chains that hit switches. There were about 20 of these cameras made. Ours is Serial Number 10 and the price is $ 3150 Rob -- Bye, _/ _/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ _/ illem _/ _/ an _/ _/ _/ arkerink _/_/_/ The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys <w.j.markerink@a1.nl> [note: 'a-one' & 'en-el'!]
