Thanks to Tom Hodge again.....
This Leica list is one of the most enjoyable I use. But one of the most
annoying features of the Internet is that people who appear to be normal in
almost every other way and in every other place take on truly anti-social
characteristics when on-line.
I do not want nor do I need to waste my connect-time or my own personal time
reading flames. If one feels a genuine need to say something nasty, please
say it on the private route that is open to you.
I really would appreciate it if the personal attacks were eliminated
entirely. You can use the PageMaker list as an example of how this is done.
That is both a useful and a genuinely nice spot on the Net. People are
helpful, kind, generous, social, efficient, and almost always on-target.
My ONLY other wish here is that there be some discussion about pictures and
photography and not so much on collecting and lens quality. This list often
looks like an equipment catalog discussion instead of a photography group.
But, if given a choice of lens quality and Fogg camera bag flames, I will
gladly read about coma any time.
