	Hi -

	What's BEST?

	Affordable? Widest aperture? Closest focusing?

I've read that Leica lenses do have "character"
(see the article "The Leica Mystique" written by Carl
Weese in the July/August 1995 issue of _Darkroom
	and Creative Camera Techniques_).

I only own the 35/f1.4 Summilux and 90/f2.8 Elmarit
	because I wanted a fast wide-angle and that's what I
happen to find and could afford. So I'm uniquely
unqualified to give you any advice. I suspect that
my photography is adapting to the characteristics
	and "character"of these lenses. I don't know. I
just use them as much as I can and discover what
works for me and what doesn't.
