I always buy on sale, which basically means last year?s model. I prefer Seagate and WD. I always replace all of the disks in a NAS (one at a time) when the second drive fails. I buy one more than the NAS holds, so I have a spare. I check SMART data about once a month. If I were buying now I would look first at 12TB Seagate. -- > On Oct 13, 2021, at 6:22 PM, Frank Filippone via LUG <lug at > leica-users.org> wrote: > > ?I just bought a 2 slot NAS.
