Simon and Karen Kershaw


This is the home page of Simon and Karen Kershaw. We live in Saint Ives, near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire in England.

Simon works for the software product company Aveva where he manages a team of software developers working on PDMS.

Karen teaches the piano, and works part time as an administrator at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

We are members of the Church of England and worship at All Saints, Saint Ives.

Simon is a lay Canon of Ely Cathedral and a member of the Liturgical Commission of the Church of England, and developed and continues to maintain the Church's Daily Prayer website. He was a contributor to A Companion to Common Worship, edited by Professor Paul Bradshaw (SPCK, 2001), and is the originator and co-author of Come to the Feast: a companion to Common Worship Holy Communion (Canterbury Press, 2001). He also edited the second and third editions of Exciting Holiness (Canterbury Press, 2003, 2007), and was editor/compiler of the book Common Worship: Daily Eucharistic Lectionary. He has designed and typeset various other books for Canterbury Press including several volumes of the Book of Common Prayer of the Church in Wales. He was co-founder of the oremus website, which he still helps manage.
