Greetings to all.  Today is a walk around the Austin Biological Garden.  It
was a while back when we had some rain so the foliage is lush.  First is an
example that photo's do lie: this woman was having an engagement
announcement picture series with the photographer framing the subject in
the archway.  I was on the obverse side and stopped as the wind picked up:

Looking north from the top of the garden toward downtown you can see the
big lawn at Zilker Park.  IIf you attend SXSW many events occur around the
lawn:

When the temperature isn't brutal you can enjoy the view from the provided

Austin is enjoying an influx of new highly skilled people whether it is the
new Apple enlargement, Samsung and it's increased fab capability or the
very large campus for Tesla.  It seems that the newcomers are fairly
positive about the future:
