Most of the stone used around Austin is limestone. Austin literally sits on trillions of tons of limestone from repeated inland seas. So, for a n architect to use granite is amusing and then to find an acorn sitting prim and proper begging to be seen: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/discarded+acorn+on+granite.jpg.html A coffee shop around the corner dressed up for evening sipping: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/dressed+up+for+the+holidays.jpg.html This tree sits outside a ring of heritage oaks at the Lady Bird wildflower center. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/don_dory_gmail_com/Tuesday+Trees/hardwood+in+winter+sun.jpg.html All the best. -- Don don.dory at gmail.com
