Do you mean ESXi is under attack, or the virtual machines running on it
(more likely)?

Subject: [Leica] warning of possible LUG outage
The server computers that host the LUG (and many other things, including
my email) are under heavy attack from China right now. There is a
possibility that it will all collapse, which will mean that I will be
cut off and the LUG will stop working.

These computers are in a data center in Fremont, California, which is
500 miles from where I live now. I really hope that I don't have to go
there to diagnose and fix this. Also, I am not at all an expert in this
technology (VMware ESXi) and I am not 100% confident in my ability to
fix it at all.

Not a good day.
