We flew into Amman without spending anytime in the city, travelled to Petra and then Wadi Rum. The Jordanians as a whole were among the warmest people it has ever been my pleasure to meet. The Bedou who we met and travelled a bit with, particularly at Wadi Rum, were fantastically generous and welcoming and we had the most memorable time.
