We have 3 kids, whose birthdays are Late November, Christmas Eve, and 
January.  No matter how "good" Christmas was, they all needed a separate 
special day to enjoy, to make THEIR special day a celebration.

For a long time, we had an anti-Birthday party in June/July to 
celebrate.  They were allowed to invite friends, use the pool. and 
basically have a good time.  We supplied a Anti-Birthday cake, and 
bought them some small presents.....

They were quite happy....
