To the LUG family?


Victoria, Brian Reid?s wife, is in the hospital after she fell earlier
today and broke her hip.


Brain says she was walking in the bedroom and caught her slipper on the
foot of an armchair. On the way down she hit the bed, which turned her at a
bad angle for falling.  There is thick carpet in the room so there was no
impact injury, but she was in terrible pain and couldn?t move.


Brian reports that x-rays indicate she has suffered an ?intertrochanteric
fracture? which doctors say ?are easy to fix.?


Mrs. Reid celebrated her 70th birthday Dec. 13.
