My mother on her honeymoon in July 1948 about to board a Great Western 
train at Paddington Station en-route to Cornwall, England. She was 24 at 
the time.

Taken with a Voigtlander Bessa by my father Louis Barry. Can be seen larger.

I still have the camera. On a railway nerd issue, at this stage British 
Rail were just over six months old being the state vehicle that all of 
the old railway companies in Britain were merged into. However, the 
rolling stock had not been repainted, so it was still in the old colours 
of the particular constituent company relevant to the particular region.
