Following Ken's suggestions on the OM list, I grabbed the "old reliable"
Olympus E-1 with ZD 14-54 lens and went out looking for something
colorful.? One of the smaller Rose of Sharon bushes had a sunlit bloom,
so I focused and waited.? This Carpenter Bee paid a visit while I
snapped.? This was his departure.

As I walked back along the fence, I spotted this single stalk of
Goldenrod.? As I studied the cropping possibilities, I realized it was a
perfect elephant profile.

Yes, Ken, it is a good choice any day!
