In a normal year, I would head to Denmark for a few days, or maybe we would have taken a trip to France or Portugal or the US to visit our son. But not this year. We knew we would stay in Spain, and although my wife started planning a trip to Galicia for a few days later in the month, this week I spent at home, doing lots of cycling and just enjoying the place. I am lucky to live in a nice place, close to the beach and with lots of good roads to cycle on and to take in the sights of the small towns and villages I pass.
