Subject: [Leica] Playing with light and glass

It's surreal to have a week of unusually lovely weather in Seattle
amidst all the scary news.? This afternoon I played with some sunshine
streaming in my glass door.? Hi, Lluis-- you've got your glass, I've got
mine? :-)

Olympus E-M5 and Panasonic/Leica 25/1.4 Summilux.

We are doing all right, self-isolating in our Seattle suburb.? The state
of Washington has not yet issued a mandatory lockdown of everyone, as
New York, California, Illinois and several EU countries have done. But
we are strongly advised to just stay home. All concerts (including mine)
have been cancelled, as have sports events and basically any gatherings
of people.? Most people who can are working from home.? It's OK to take
walks as long as we stay 6 feet (~2 meters) away from everyone else.
We're playing it safe and crossing to the opposite side of the street
when we pass anyone. Online ordering of needed stuff is still working,
although grocery orders are backed up for as many days as the web sites
will display. As we are in the over-60 age group, we don't want to go
into stores. We found a suburban supermarket that takes online orders
and will put them in our car trunk (aka boot) so there's no
person-to-person contact. ? Even that will be 3 days from now, but
that's OK.

Be safe, everybody, and be good to each other.
