Greetings to all.  We took a brief trip into the hill country this week.
In a pasture I spied this prickly pear cactus; if you don't remove them
then they take over your pasture.  Interestingly, several pre Columbian
societies depended on the fruits of these plants to survive:

Frequently the unkept beds create a jumble of plants competing for light:

Some plants make the pollen very easy for bees to distribute:
