I'd say I like the white dress of the darker one (Clara with Nutcracker). I suspect the others have the 'highlight' slider to much to the left (which triggered my +0.3 EV suggestion). Maybe just increasing the 'whites' slider does a better job, more dedicated. Furthermore I think the light foreground distracts from the girl and makes the image less strong. But not completely dark like in the darker one. But I do like more light on the nutcracker itself, in the darker one I think it's to dark. A bit scary ;-).
