So - leicas trade in for a corroded sensor m9 is to give you an m10 for 
$5450 which is somewhere in the ballpark of a used m10 on eBay. 

So the wisdom seems to be: buy an m10 used, keep the m9 on a shelf until the 
battery rusts a hole through it.
