Greetings to all.  Austin Texas is an interesting city.  Two blocks behind
one of the major shopping districts lie the remains of an industrial
complex.  The spray paint artists took it over and created an interesting,
even thought provoking haven for creative destruction.  Currently this is
scheduled for redevelopment in January.

First up is a sketch of an artist overlaying new on the old:

An second, someone still needs to clean up afterwards; I spoke to this
gentleman who scavenges the cans and creates his work from the rubbish left
behind:

I do find it interesting that the urge to create doesn't imply permanence.
A last thought is that talent and creativity needs to be curated and saved
from the hordes.
