The American Photokina (though much, much smaller) is Photo Plus Expo.  It
takes place every year at the Javits Center in NYC, this year Oct 25-27th.



You can register as an attendee for FREE, but ONLY IF YOU DO SO
IMMEDIATELY!  They used to extend free admission registration through the
end of September, but evidently they?re getting ?cute? and cutting it off
mid-August.

Be forewarned: they will try to upsell you on everything under the sun.
You?ll have to navigate through the pages carefully, but you will be able
to get a free pass.



I?d urge you to register NOW, whether or not you can guarantee that you?ll
be able to attend.  There?s no penalty if you don?t attend, but if you
decide at the last minute that you do want to attend it?ll cost $$$.
