Subject: [Leica] I’m Back — a Re-Introduction

Dear LUG,

After quite a long hiatus, I?m signing back on to the LUG. Glad to be back.

I left a number of years ago when I sold most of my Leica kit to fund the
switch to digital (Canon first, then Nikon). I kept my trusty M3 and 50
Summicron (11817) and periodically pulled it out, but the longer I was away
from film, the longer the intervals between trips out with the M3 became. I
was effectively Leica-less.

After years shooting with Nikons semi-professionally (just for fun nowadays
as the demands of my real job got in the way), the Leica calling got louder
and louder in my head. So, earlier this year, and for the second time in my
life, I put most of my Nikon kit on the block to fund the purchase of a new
M system: a M10, a 35 ?cron, and a 90 ?cron. This is going to be fun.

Anyway, I?m looking forward to seeing many old e-mail friends on the list,
and new names, too.

Pleasure to make all of your acquaintances.

Smile!
