Subject: [Leica] New version of the Sun's corona

Thank you for the encouraging words, Gerry and Aram. And that?s a nice 
capture of the inner corona and prominences, Aram.

I?ve done some Photoshopping to enhance the detail and extent of the 
extended corona image that I posted earlier, and I?m quite happy with the 
result, especially viewed LARGE! It?s added to the album here

I?ve never been an eclipse chaser in 60 years of being an amateur 
astronomer, but I am now. I have my sights set on a tour to Chile in 2019 to 
see the eclipse and visit some of the Andean observatories, among the 
cathedrals of astronomy, and if I retain enough brain cells by then to 
appreciate it, the 2024 U.S. eclipse. Hope to see both of you at one or the 
other!
