As you might guess, it is a tapas crawl, going from bar to bar to try the tapas. Yesterday, seven bars in the centre of Alicante put up a vegan tapeo. Each bar, whether veggie or not, committed to having at least two vegan tapas on the menu. Needless to say, Monica was keen on trying it, so I took the afternoon off and we went out to enjoy the vegan tapas. The first place, called Farmers, had a vegan sandwich with avocado, beets, lettuce and lots of other good things. In reality, a tapa is a small dish of food and can be quite elaborate.
