Didn't see much by way of prohibitive signage.
And perhaps because it was just a cellphone no one got too excited.
If I had walked in with the massive DSLRs they sell these days I might
have attracted attention.

Bharani,
Nice, but I thought cameras are not allowed in Srirangam, as with most
Perumal temples. At least, that was the case a couple of years ago when I
was last there
