Subject: [Leica] IMG: Chinese Chequers - historic

I took this in 1998 on a trip to Beijing with my wife. I was suing a Leica
M6 with 50mm Summicron f2, and this was taken on Fuji Provia and scanned
recently. I have a feeling that the guy top right was some kind of political
local ?watcher? but that could just be my imagination. Despite this being
nearly 20 years ago I never at any time felt that I was restricted in any
way with what I could photograph or who I could talk to.

Hope you like my historic revival.

Gerry
