Every time I went to photograph them I waited quietly and got into the ?zone? so that we could communicate with each other. Each of these encounters was a Zen Moment. Here are four pictures selected from my many hundred: <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2015/0381E.jpg.html <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2015/0381E.jpg.html>> One thing I have noticed - the eagle tends to keep his head level even when he is turning. It is sort of his gyroscope. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2015/0405E.jpg.html <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2015/0405E.jpg.html>> They fly quite close and it is hard to rack back the zoom to keep them all in the frame <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2015/9041.jpg.html <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2015/9041.jpg.html>> I like this view for the feather detail <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2015/9100E.jpg.html <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2015/9100E.jpg.html>> And the mastery the eagle shows over wind and water always fascinates me!! They are Kings of the Air and Water! Please view large. C&C always welcome. Merry Christmas, Howard (gearing up to eat and drink TOO much in Hong Kong)
