Collaborative self expression exists in many forms:
Operatic and theatre productions, musical duos, trios, quartets, quintets, 
film productions, orchestras, dance companies.
These can be small or large productions and/or collaborations.

The questions to ask, in my mind,
"Does the collaborative work serve its intended purpose?"
"Does it have viable content?"
"Aesthetic quality?"
etc,
