Subject: [Leica] Lens Choices

Lenses often seem to be chosen based on the manufacturer and the 
opinions of others.  I am going against that path and evaluating a lens 
that, from past experience, produces images that_I_ like.  I have 
installed the 50mm lens on my E-1 and will, in the coming days, post a 
few images that show what I like about it.  I would like comments from 
others.

The first image is a simple kitchen counter/black poster board image of 
a Hobnail vase.  I'm sure Chuck will see that the front edge is not 
quite in focus, but I like the overall rendering of the glass.
