First Leica gives a USA $750 Discount on the M(240) camera, then Leica
claims the price will go UP by $250, now the rumor is that they will keep
the $750 discount price....

And the rumor is that sales are again slumping.... as in saturated
market..... for all things Leica M related

Rumors are that a new MM ( CMOS sensor) is right around the corner..... Old
( as in last model available, even if it is only 6 months old) Digital
cameras drop in price like a rock.....

Now if they would only make an auto diaphragm adapter for the M(240) to the
Visoflex lenses, it would be wonderful.

And don't tell me it can not be done......

More than likely just a response to the (rapidly) falling value of the Euro.
But possibly a replacement in the next 12 months.
