Subject: [Leica] Ridiculously Absurd Crop Factor Sensor Size Wars

Last month I sold my:
8x10 Durst Enlarger to a fellow in New York who shoots 8x10 film.
and
Two 5x7 Durst Enlargers to a different fellow in New York who loves 5x7 film.
and he appreciated the Leitz V35 Multicontrast Enlarger to purchase it also.

Imagine that.
Serious photographers choosing film;
big film
and
little film.

Almost like painters choosing different size canvases.

I now shoot with:
M8 - 1.6
R8/DMR 1.3
M - so called full frame
MM - so called full frame
C 5D - so called full frame
CF39 - I guess you'd have to say twice as big as so called full frame

So what? Who the F cares when looking at the prints?

George Lottermoser
