Subject: [Leica] Crop factor blah...

NOTHING get Mark up on a crusade more than speaking of crop factor sensors
in the same level as "full frame" sensors.

He is not wrong - all else being equal, bigger is better. That's why people
like Geoff Hopsterman, John McIAmYourMaster and Bob Adler-the-Man etc.
shoot with medium format data back, and poor sob like me lugs around a 4x5
because I can't afford a MFDB.

However, it is also true that professional ARE using lesser cameras than
Nikon and Canon full frame and they are getting paid for it. Names that are
in the Magnum rolls and other top agencies. If you read the bylines and do
some googling, you know who they are.

The Image IS everything. No one ever talks about the lousy technical
aspects of the world's greatest photographs. They talk about how great the
impact they have.
