If I remember correctly, Photo Arsenal bought out the Leica Museum's 
unwanted items....

.How much was the Zeiss lens that the Sheik (?) had made for him to take 
pictures of wildlife?

1700 mm Sonnar for Hasselblad was over $100K (reported weight was 564 
pounds) and is a regular catalog item
 1600 F5.6 for Leicaflex  was over $2M  (Sheikh Saud Bin Mohammed Al-Thani 
of Quatar)

Zeiss obviously does not know how to price for the market......
