Cologne: Leica today proudly announces Leica M Edition 666, the follow-on
to the wildly popular Leica M Edition 60, announced in Photokina 2014. Not
satisfied with just "Reducing to only the essential camera features," Leica
M Edition 666 carries the concept even further: a simple red dot made with
the finest silk spun materials is adhered to the photographer's forehead.
The imaging lens is the incredible flat field, achromatic, single element
meniscus eyeballs (single eye if you are Ted Grant, and 3 eyes if you are
an enlightened being). The sensor is the cone and rods in your retina,
giving new meaning to "retina display."

The storage is only limited by whether the photographer has a photographic
memory or whether they have a "memory like a sieve."

For the discerning photographer, the red dot can be "pre-visualized" and
does not need to be adhered at all, at an additional cost of $10,000.

Leica M Edition 666 will be available in October 2016 for $39,999. Special
anniversary editions will be available.
