I like the close-up of the student chipping away at the wall. During 
subsequent years (I was in Berlin in 1992) those wall chips were widely sold 
as souvenirs, along with Soviet uniforms and other similar paraphenalia. One 
had the strong suspicion that there were many more chips than the total 
volume of the wall ;-)
