Tabarca is a small island off the Alicante coast, and one of my favourite
places to take visitors. A 1/2 hour boat ride from Santa Pola takes you to a
real small paradise. There are no cars but lots of cats. Less than 100
people live there permanently, but on sunny weekends the population
multiplies enough to support several restaurants and bars and even a couple
of hotels. I am not sure if I would want to live there, but spending a day
there is wonderful and relaxing?and that?s what I did with my sister and
brother-in-law yesterday:
