I have been happy with TrueGrain for adding some "authentic" grain to 
some b&w images, although a number of friends think I am missing the 
point of digital.  But I am not alone.  We are looking at having a patio 
and front porch re-surfaced.  This is done with grinding, an acid 
treatment and, in effect, painting with stains and sealers.  Today the 
contractor asked if we wanted cracks.  Yes, a current thing is to paint 
in concrete cracks for a "weathered" look...
