After dropping her off, I went for an early Sunday walk in the centre of Alicante. Not many people out and about at 9:30 a.m. but I like a city in the morning, I took this picture of a statue of a mayor of Alicante in the 19th century, using my 40 year old 50mm Summilux at full aperture, i.e. 1.4. I know that there are modern lenses that are better, but look at this; the sharpness, the bokeh...no wonder it is my favourite lens: http://www.greatpix.eu/All/Picture-A-Day/4253606_kdsZ6C#!i=3125406433&k=Mv3Tnz7&lb=1&s=O Cheers, Nathan Nathan Wajsman Alicante, Spain http://www.frozenlight.eu http://www.greatpix.eu PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws Blog: http://nathansmusings.wordpress.com/ YNWA
