To all of you who send me a 'get well" note.

Thank You for your recent words of encouragement.

Other than being unable to sit down for more than several minutes at a
time, all is well and my doctor finally took me off of the opium based
drugs and put me back onto Aleve... which is my preference.

He also took my xray and said that everything looks okay and as an
aside, said that I look great, and I told him that's what my ten Irish
aunts & uncles used to say about whomever was in the box at the last wake.

I have another appointment with him on the 28th, at which time I hope
that he gives me the okay to drive. I'll need that to get to the REAL
physical therapy sessions in April... I think that's when I think they
twist you up like a pretzel to stretch out the new muscles.

Here's one of the xrays...

Jim, "but that big hole in my posterior still hurts" Hemenway
