Tina,

Since this is memory intensive, you might see if your motherboard can 
handle 32 gb of ram.  If so you can buy 16gb for about $150 (2x8gb).  If 
that helps significantly you could buy another two. Tiger Direct or 
Crucial can assist with finding the correct ram. Hope this helps.
