When the Shaman King Stole the Moon.

This was the view on Dawn 1953BC March 5 around Beijing.

The five planets lined up like a string of pearls next to the New Moon.
This, my friends, shocked the ancients so much that they pegged the Chinese
calendar to this date.

Chinese New Year is (usually) the second New Moon after the Winter
Solstice. Happy Year of the Wood Horse.
