So this afternoon, with 25C/80F and blue sky and bright sunshine, I drove to El Campello to have a walk along the beach with my M8 and a Helipan 695 filter. And George was right; the M8 works beautifully as a digital IR camera. Here are 17 images. The only processing in LR was to convert them to B&W, hit AUTO for the exposure and add a bit of Clarity.
