Hi Leland,

HOW TRUE! how true.
========================

I've heard people say "Man when I retire I'm just going to sit on my butt,
watch the sunrise and go down. In the middle? I'm going to watch all the TV
I possibly can!

AND SUNRISE OF SURPRISE'S? 12 MONTHS LATER?????? Or SOONER??????

It's R.I.P. big-time!

If you do not keep active / busy you will die! An absolute medical fact!

I suppose I'm in some kind of retirement only because I'm in a state of
recovery after having my right shoulder replaced May 2/2013. Oh it's coming
along and I'm back to using my M8 more and more. Including two photo
projects to work on shortly.

One an assignment; Once again on and in the medical profession with some of
my medical student material of the past and new material to shoot now we're
into the NEW YEAR!

The second on the School of Medicine at UVIC. celebrating the past 10 years
of the University's School of Medicine. And I'm going to be 85 years young,
May 27/2014!:-)

You just have to love the time as it's been 65 years of the greatest life
fun since I started when my dear departed Irene, wife of 64 years, handed me
my first camera as a birthday gift May 27/195O ! :-) First photo published.
17 September 1951 Ottawa Citizen newspaper!

I don't want it no other way! WHY? Well my past during the years, I have
been involved with photography with what seems a string of never ending
assignments. Yes assigned work covering subjects beyond your wildest
imagination. Retire? Not in my vocabulary!

Never going to happen! WHY? Because when my last breath comes along? I'll
just fall over dead , LEICA whatever in hand, a smile on my face still doing
what I've done! :-) Being a photojournalist! Gotta love it! :-)

Damn I've got lots to look forward to yet!

WATCH TV? Not on your life, nor mine! :-)

To all those retired or about to be? Trust me Lads & Ladies. Keep as busy as
you can doing what you love with great passion......... "PHOTOGRAPHY!" OR?

"KISS it!" Keep it simple, don't over do it, shoot for the subjects and
content that turns you on and you "feel great about!" It should constantly
be "FUN!" If it isn't?

OK then just die and get it over with! Sorry I'm kidding! :-) Keep active
involved in/with whatever turns you on without any mental stress.

Walk every single day and start a short over all series of simple, not over
stressful exercising. Gently

CHEERS ALL!
Dr. ted :-)

Oh yeah and "EPL?" That includes you also old buddy! Have a nice day! :-)
