We enjoyed roasted chestnuts, chestnut crepes with cheese and chocolate fillings, fried pasta (think Beignets with salt instead of sugar) and lots and lots of local wine. I took hundreds of photos but like this one of the guys peeling chestnuts because the priest (wearing sandals) looks exactly like our retired prebyter at our church in South Carolina.
