Thank you everyone for your variety of constructive, helpful and nice
comments. Re-visited one photo based on y'all's feedback and have posted a
"less extreme" version.

Am glad to have revisited based on the comments, and am ambivalent about
which I like better or is more effective setting the mood. Truth is I like
them both. Your thoughts, and reasons why, are muchly appreciated; on- or
off-list.

Thanks again for your comments and giving me another way to see this.
