What is the result if the sensor on your camera exceeds the resolution of
your lens?

 

What is the result if the lens on your camera exceeds the resolution of your
sensor?

 

Does it make any IQ difference one way or the other?  ( is one way a
"better" solution than the other?)

 

This may all be more appropriate a question to the Nikon or Canon world...
