I bought my first SL after comparing my photos made with my Nikon and Nikkor 
lenses with my photos made with a friend's Leicaflex and Leitz lenses.  I 
have not regretted the choice for a moment.  The SL's viewfinder was a 
bonus, but if had been less usable than the Nikon's viewfinder it would have 
been a deal-killer.
