The first few photographs document our going out to take the holy bath at the meeting point of the rivers Ganges and Yamuna, called Sangam (means confluence in Sanskrit). It was a very auspicious day called Vasant Panchami, and in spite of very iffy weather, the estimated numbers of pilgrims who had a dip on that day was supposed to be 7-10 million.
