We are back to everyday objects this week. I have an original edition of
"In the American West" which I periodically examine, this sublime work
inspires me even when photographing ordinary things.

These were shot with a Nex 7 and an old Pentax 50mm F4 Macro. For DOF I
had to stop down to F11-F16 which diffraction limits the resolution; still
not bad.

Spring is out and about in the southern U.S.; for our northern brothers and
sisters the warmer weather is coming soon. If you live in the southern
hemisphere I suspect your winter will be abnormally cold so prepare.
