The idea was that we climb a hill to a well known temple at the top to photograph the sunrise from there, but the temple was closed for the morning when we reached, and so we did a walkabout around town instead. Incidentally, the temple is famous for vultures that come every day around noon to be hand fed vegetarian food (a dish made from wheat, rice, butter and sugar) by the temple priests - an activity that has apparently been going on, according to lore, for "centuries".
